KILIMANJARO DAY TRIP

Starting from your hotel after breakfast, you will drive to Marangu gate situated at 1970m. you’ll start from here and hike through the rainforest to visit Mandara (2700m) and Maundi crater. This day tour trip give you an opportunity to spot black and white colobus monkeys, blue Monkeys, duikers and different kind of bird species.
KILIMANJARO DAY TRIP (Mandara hut) leave Moshi early for the drive to Marangu gate, it’s just an hour drive. You will be captivated by the country side coffee, banana plantations and different kinds of plants and trees through Marangu Village, with Kilimanjaro mountain rising ahead of you
We will register at the gate and then your adventure will begin.
It’s a three hours walk from Marangu gate to Mandara hut. Walking starts from the gate at (1970m) to mandara hut (2700m) you will walk through the rainforest. It is lush and misty with moss, look out on the canopys you might spot black and white colobus monkeys and blue monkeys too. Different kind of birds singing. You will also meet tired hikers descending from the summit, give them a high five for the effort. By the time you will be at Mandara hut for replenishing yourself with a cool lunch box. After wards if it is a clear day you can take a short but challenging walk to Maundi crater with views of Mawenzi peak and Taveta on the border of Kenya and Tanzania.
After the best views and stunning Images you will hike back to the gate (marangu) This Kilimanjaro day hike is suitable for most people, even if you are a little unfit.
